Yeah, I read something earlier today where something like 14 different states are seeing a drastic spike in shooting/terrorism threats this week through social media because of what happened in Georgia

You can anonymously report safety concerns, which get forwarded to the district and we are legally required to both respond to them and report that we did so

It can be bullying, concern about somebody self harming or being abused, even stuff like unsafe driving or discrimination. There's a phone app and a website as well

Anyway I ask because we had over 300 Safe2Tell tips this morning and more rolling in, so that's how many kids were aware there was a rumor and reported it properly.

all I've got is CatapultEMS which is reporting active stuff going on, not tips to investigate.

There are some private companies that run a service like that too, we just happen to have a statewide one here. iirc Colorado founded and pioneered it and it became a model in other states too

doesn't look like California has done that yet

looks like there's some safety links on the school website for reporting but it's buried in the policy documents
