《我在100天內自學英文翻轉人生》 張同完
坊間語言書系有許多耳熟能詳的速記法，目的在幫助大眾記住某些領域的單字、片語或英美文化的情境
100LS（Listening & Speaking）也是學習英語的方法之一，不同的地方是，作者特別強調不必記文法，只要找部喜歡的生活影劇，按照步驟練習100天，便能逐漸習得「生活化的英文」，甚至是日文、泰文等語言

100LS的步驟為：
0. 設定目標，找部喜歡的影劇
（作者不推薦科幻奇幻戰爭作，《南方》和《辛普森》太粗俗，另外也提到《六人行》的用法太古早，現代愛情片則大多Ok）
1. 關掉字幕看一遍
2. 打開中文字幕看第二遍，確認之前沒看懂的部分
3. 切換成英文字幕，把先前沒聽懂的片段抄在筆記本上，並查詢它們的意思
4. 練習不懂的片段，聽完當下跟讀，每一段練習到不會結巴卡詞，盡可能跟上劇中語速，目標不看字幕完全同步
5. 關掉所有字幕，跟著影片或音檔進行剩下的97次跟讀
6. 參加外語交流聚會，請教對方筆記本上的句子用法，三週一次最好
7. 用此模式再看9部影劇
沒完成目標前，不能急躁進入下一階段或換影片，因此要找喜歡到可以看上幾十遍的作品，像我就會選《阿甘妙世界》這部卡通

看起來步驟很少很簡單，實際執行則會碰到很多的困惑和問題，因此除了步驟之外，我認為作者學英文的心路歷程和來信釋疑也很值得一看，可以立刻找到執行的盲點 作者說，他一路學文法的歷程可說是慘不忍睹，家境也不寬裕，但由於始終懷著出國的夢想，當他還是個身無分文的窮學生時，他一股腦地衝進醫院，說明來歷後懇求院長贊助，而院長看到他的衝勁也欣然接受，慷慨寫了兩張支票，讓作者得以站上「出國」的起跑點
光是看到這裡，就非常敬佩作者向外尋求幫助和資源的勇氣，面對一路的跌跌撞撞都不會陷在負面情緒，而能持續自省和提升 儘管我不一定能像作者這麼敢開口，不過既然高手出書相傳秘訣，而且實際操作有效，或許我也可以嘗試拋下關代、子句等語言學名詞，讓自己更樂在其中學英文
「給自己最後一次學英文的機會」這句話並不是指學到某種程度就不用學英文，而是在重複實踐LS法後，不必為了「學英文」努力，有能力在生活中自然習得情境和語感，並與時俱進更新☆註：譯者很用心地將內容在地化，不僅為韓國媒體專有名詞加註，同時也列出台灣在地媒體的線上英文頻道，所以能即時找到對應資源

我覺得 LS 第四步驟可以用跟讀熟悉，截過來放：
1. 挑出影片或音檔中的 30 秒
建議大家挑一段 30 秒左右的長度就可以了，盡量挑選實用的橋段
（我個人覺得罵人段落就會非常實用）
2. 聽音檔 20 次
把這 30 秒的音檔聽 20 次，讓自己非常熟悉這段的抑揚頓挫
（快慢和句子中間的停頓）
註：我必須要解釋抑揚頓挫是什麼，不然很多人以為抑揚頓挫就是浮誇的意思
3. 哼歌
建議初學者先用哼歌的方式，把這段音檔的節奏感和抑揚頓挫模仿出來

如果這份音檔有逐字稿的話，可以在逐字稿上畫線，把連在一起的音和抑揚頓挫的符號都畫上去，哪裡該大聲小聲，哪裡該停頓都可以畫，這樣唸的時候就可以提醒
4. 開始跟讀
建議聽一句音檔就暫停，自己馬上復誦一次
註：強烈建議初學者一定要把兩個聲音都錄下來！要不要看字就見仁見智，有些人看著自己的註記會唸得比較好，有些人則偏好專注在聲音和嘴巴上
