From about a decade ago. Lots of it is random snippets but I have a list of these dramatic quotes that look pretty much like what you'd hear in the trailer if it was a movie. It amuses me

'I detest your politics'

'Damaging Company property, are you?'

'My future has never been here / I'll follow you'

'He died because there was no reason left for him to live'

'You thought I wasn't watching? The experiment is still running its course' (proto-Carrington)

'This is it. This is all there is. Now take the gun.'

'Have you heard the music of [L-space]? It's calling.'

First conceptualisation had more mysticism and an 'it was Earth all along!' moment lol. It has changed a lot. Although the 'future' quote could still be Ari/Kaizen. (Alas, he did not follow her)

And 'Company property' was the genemodded kids getting very drunk and aggrieved

lol there's a bit about floor 74 being 'high' in the tower, it must have grown at some point

'I know the woman. She won't ever step down. She'll die at the top of that tower.' the whole Carrington succession crisis thing was half the plot

big philosophical conversation between Kaizen and Ellai about freedom and death and I can see how some of that came forward.

Yeah Nobunaga has 100% been SUUUUUUUUUUUUUUPER suspicious that Tirva is Earth

Nobunaga would approve of Kaizen, he's telling Ellai (another genemodded kid) that taking crazy risks and dying because she feels trapped at the Company and hates it is such a stupid idea
