Gonna hafta change my voting place from Mandaluyong to Tagaytay.
I wouldn't care to vote, but mom is still a dedicated Dutertard and she votes so I have to vote as well to counterbalance. Again. Since I voted Leni to offset her Marcos vote (lmao)
Fuck, I don't have any idea who to vote for in the coming elections who's both anti-Marcos and anti-Duterte.

infinite_imperfection: for Tagaytay there's a comelec booth in Fora specifically to do such a thing but that's only until Sep 30

I imagine there's similar booths for your locality. Just need to bring proof that you currently live where you live. Billing stuff, or a barangay ID, stuff like that

infinite_imperfection: Try to ask your local barangay officials for help. Kung matagal ka naman nang naktira sa lugar nyo, they should be able to help with the process.

chaosghost: The highest position one can run for in the midterm elections is senator, right? Mejo malabong magkapaghanap ng anti-Marcos and anti-Duterte for lower positions eh, but yeah. At least for senators, there are "third party candidates".

If Chel Diokno is running for Senator again, vote for Chel Diokno.
commendation for your effort to cancel out your mom's vote

ok so done with the transfer. had to present my UMID along with my barangay cuz apparently the barangay isn't enough (photocopied for them to keep), filled out a transfer form, did one of those digital thumb/index print, took my picture, and done.
pretty quick process, less than an hour.

tbh it's more like 15 minutes if we remove the time of me being slow to write and waiting in line, watching the other people get yelled at by the comelec official in charge for not having valid IDs

Ay oo, mejo mahina ang barangay ID when it comes to IDs, mas preferred nila yung UMID or passport.

I think ang problema talaga is karamihan ng tao, saka lang naa-alaala na mag-file ng paperwork for transfer pag malapit na ang deadline.

So anjan na yung magkukumahog na kumuha ng requirements tapos pila balde na sa comelec offices.
