new sims news. there is no longer a sims 5 in development, ea wants to keep milking sims 4. project rene still exists though.
afaik there was never a Sims 5 in development, just folks thinking Rene was 5
they told us ages ago that they were gonna keep working on 4 while also working on Rene

last i checked was 2k but i'm not sure
You aren't really expected to get all the DLC, and frankly, they are on sale more often than not.
if you really really really really want everything, i have a legit (paid but infinitely cheaper) source
