Ahhh... V. The Visitors. I did enjoy it, when I was a teen.

StereoNacht: The two miniseries were much better than the lizard soap opera conventional series.

I am pretty sure it's the miniseries I have seen; although it had probably been cut into five 40 minutes-long (give or take) episodes.

I just looked this up, and the V theme was written by Joe Harnell, who did several SF-ish TV themes in the '80s, but was ALSO the father of Jess "Wakko Warner" Harnell!
