fondly i have called their pinboard "easiest color to see" because that's what red is, the easiest to see wavelengthwise, and the one that siffrin hopes to remember first... haha. hes seen it before but he hasnt the name for it. anyway

according to his party he's Very obvious........... brightening up around the person he likes, wanting to spend time with them, observing them enough to know certain habits and preferences and adjusting/reacting accordingly...

even if siffrin realizes that he won't say anything though esp to gebura since he wouldn't think she felt anywhere close the same given her occupation and life thus far.......... looks off. but that's fine, because he's okay with holding it inside, sincerely

it's when the chance for more is hung above him like a dog begging for scrapes and having it tugged from him at the last moment that he starts to get impatient and mean

thankfully there's no loops here for that to happen (heh) so he gets to experience the full ride

they have a baseline trust and him holding back from her really tested it. he got to learn the hard lesson that, at least with her, it wasn't the end of the world if something went wrong-- if he hurt her (he Hurt Her siffrin never wants to do that again) then it was fine, as long as it was talked about and fixed

but she's definitely one of the people they trust without question... it's a very slow road for both of them even getting to the friend point (finally at last made it) much less anything else siffrin could for a moment think about

but that's fine, because there's such comfort in someone who takes you as you are. who's quite predictable, even, in the responses they give. don't worry about that point though
