in short: mods got a crit and dragged on WG and hit the nuclear option without considering passing the game to someone else and then they changed their minds to let someone else take over and this all happened over the course of about an HOUR

also claims from mods that they had been considering closing the game for months after this, so a lot of it was because of a lack of transparency from the mods?
