5. What do they admire about your character?
Altair appreciates very much Maria's insistence that she see things for herself, even if just believing his word might have made things easier. It's a quality that saved his butt and something he looks for in an intelligent partner.

9. Do they trust your character? How much? What would it take to break that trust?
It depends on canon point, but other than tricking him when they first met, I don't think he struggles that much with deciding whether to trust her.

How much and to what extent grew over time, but he was just so interested (read: crushing on) to see where her path led and was willing to follow (read: dog her steps) and help where he could.

I don't have a blueprint for what would break his trust, but I could see him getting tetchy about Maria trying to keep him away from the [redacted].

10. What is their first impression vs. current impression of your character?
1st: Impressive and wow girl hot

7. If they could take one personality trait and/or physical feature from your character for themselves, what would it be?
Deku would like to emulate Krouse's confidence, but he is quickly learning that it's just MASKING, SOMETIMES LITERALLY.

13. In a horror movie, which role do they think your character would play?
Krouse is the scientist consulted as an expert in their field, possibly working for the enemy but turned to the side of helping others. Unfortunately things usually don't end well for this type of character, but Deku is here to defy tropes anyway.

20. If they could change one thing about your character, what would it be?
Deku thinks it's best that Krouse himself work on changing himself. All the rest will follow. He's not going to pretend to know how to facelift a personality, he's more of the lead by example type.

He does wish he'd be honest if he's feeling hopeless, because he considers himself his friend. Don't go off into a dark alleyway and confront a known killer, Krouse!! That's Iida behavior!!

3. Do they have any fears involving or regarding your character?
Deku's biggest one involving Bakugo is that he has unaddressed trauma regarding people getting hurt and being unable to save them. My event toplevel was exactly that, but news flash, scaring him into addressing something is... bad! He is very sad currently.

Bakugo can lapse back into some old behavior, but it carries none of the previous maliciousness. Deku has grown out of flinching and letting him steamroll him when it counts. Calling it a fear is a disservice to how much they have both grown, but Deku does have an eye for when Bakugo needs to get sassed.

If Bakugo does get mean, Deku knows that's not the person Bakugo wants to be now, and he will hold him to his promise. These boys and promises!!

6. If they could swap bodies with your character for a day, how would they spend the day?
He'd panic and try to coach Bakugo through Full Cowl so he doesn't explode his limbs. If he's feeling brave, he might try out Explosion in an effort to learn some secrets only to find out it really is like his own case: hard work, experience, and grit.

He's not going to invade his privacy, but he's also not too bothered with peeing or showering lmao, he's seen Bakugo's peepee many times already.

8. Are they keeping any secrets from your character? What are they?
There's so many little things that Deku just straight up doesn't think about telling Bakugo!! They connect in a deep way, they have chemistry and rivalry, but if he could talk about normal shit like liking boys(!!) or learning cooking sometimes! Or his insecurities!!

15. What is their ideal afternoon spent with your character?
If asked, he would say something normie like going to a festival and sharing a crepe or some shit.

But in reality... Deku's a freak. I think he really blooms when he and Bakugo are having like, friction and sass, but not in the early canon dysfunctional way. I think training sessions with Bakugo became a structured way to explore interacting with him in an aggressive but safe manner as a proper rival.

20. If they could change one thing about your character, what would it be?
He wants to spend more time with Bakugo. It's not as though he'll magically get back the years they didn't have together, and that would be a disservice to how much they've changed anyway. He's interested in the person Katsuki is now.

21. What do they associate with your character?
Standing on his library chairs is indelibly linked in Altair's mind now, sorry Chloe. But really, he thinks of all their adventures together and how they have grown through their experiences.

Louis associates Chloe with adventure, but now that also includes the quieter adventure of survivalism re: getting anything to grow in this damn cold. He thinks she's tenacious.

He's also still super embarrassed about the whole Lestat thing, so he's doing the neat trick of just never speaking of it again!
