Like “this is not normally my jam but fuck me if I’m not compelled and getting invested”

everything I heard about Dark Souls before I actually saw it played made it sound like it had absolutely nothing for me but it's actually a compelling exercise in storytelling methods and game design and it's fascinating to see how it all fits together

still don't have the patience to play it myself but I do love to watch other people tackle it and see what they can piece together, even if nobody will ever beat Kay in thoroughness
