I don't know how basically a YEAR went by since I was regularly using plurk but it DID?

I want to know how everyone is, what the big news in your lives is...

I had a ROUGH year....I did pop in briefly to update about Miles, my 17 year old dog, got ill in...January? So it was like...4 months of relatively involved home hospice care (he was happy and comfortable we weren't dragging him along miserably or anything) that culminated in a peaceful at home euthanasia with a vet

So basically it was a lot of Sad Times!!! But in an ultimately good, healthy way. He was very senior and I was prepared for the inevitability

I also lost two part time jobs this summmer (one through a dumb move where i took a temporary leave and the place went to shit and then I couldn't go back LMAO) and the economy is a nightmare so I can't find another one!

I've only recently kind of acknowledged that WOW I HAVE BEEN REALLY DEPRESSED FOR THE PAST...9+ MONTHS

And then i got month long covid...

BUT ANYWAY WE'RE TURNING A CORNER

I wanted to come back to plurk because I miss seeing what people are up to...my lack of out of house job has me feeling kind of isolated and I'm trying to start socializing more again jkdgddl

We also got a new puppy, because me and Em were like...2 dogs feels wrong, and Miles left a real vacany in our life. I will introduce him in his own bespoke plurk because he deserves it

But I genuinely hope everyone is doing as okay as anyone can hope to be in these Times we live in!!
