It's been 3 days of Fredday (mostly) successfully taking his inhaler!

I gave up on the slow training out of concern of the liquid meds and losing trust with him on that (he HATES the taste and I was feeling bad about him running from me - though he WOULD of course come back, purr, lay with me, etc - but those moments just made me feel guilty...)

Third try he did start yowling in the middle of it which sucked. It meant he was still breathing it in , but very displeased.

I'm TRYING to use simple words of association, learning from the "button talk" with cats (and some dogs!) to try to communicate at least one-sided with him on certain things. Such as "hold" for to hold still or "medicine" and

stuff like that (omg what is that emote above LMFAO IDK LMFAO oh it's "yay"?? HAHAHA)

I wanted to jump for joy on the first day! He tossed his head away once, but I cradled him in a particular way that he just... accepted it?

Of course he ran away and mom had to give him his reward (which. We're almost out of. So. I AM admittedly worried that it'll be harder to give it to him when he's not immediately rewarded. But. We currently

can't even afford our internet or electric bill next month (and paying each one already 1-2 weeks late =\) -- we're on the CHEAPEST available internet in our area (a "known" monopoly of sorts by the company) and our price is apparently grandfathered in from when Covid was allowing some lowered

prices/discounts etc for those with E/B/T and stuff (which we're now on the fence on and may not have in 2025 if they don't accept my Drs notice... )) BUT we're already on cheapest internet available.

Our phones are like... $33 total for two. With 1-2 Gigs of Data each. So like. Cheapest there. I mean. We're on the cheapest of everything, or at least try to be?

Anyways.

I was so stoked to talk about Fredday's progress, but something came up (I forget what) and then the past... 4 days have spent majority in bed and just.

My new meds are preventing me from being sick-sick from everything, but... I'm like two steps above that, I guess. Which is still pretty low.

I see my Dr in a few days and just yeah.

Head is throbbing thanks to glasses that've needed an updated for 2 (?) years now, but no one in my state takes the insurance for the exam. So yeah. That's just been on hold due to all the other financial woes.
