Rhianna Pratchett's tweeting about it, which means she and Rob were definitely involved in the negotiations here.

They usually stay absolutely quiet about a lot of things, but considering she tweeted the announcement and GO is run by the Pratchett production company...

My inclination/suspicion is that the Pratchett estate probably drew some hard lines on the whole situation.

GO is very big on Amazon Prime and it's not like they've cared about scandals.

I'm guessing the show is more or less over in all but name after this

I also wouldn't be surprised if the main cast had some strong opinions on this.

I can understand how everyone attached wants both a conclusion to the show out of respect for the fans but also wants it to be over due to their own feelings

Yeah. I enjoyed GO TV enough but the added things from the start even in Season 1 were Gaiman at his most Gaiman-y, and considering everything from after is based on conversation and scrapped plans but is primarily Gaiman...
I loved the show a lot and I do appreciate that the intention is to give an ending of some kind. I just hope the more intense fans stfu and understand they're lucky to even get that much

Yeah. I'm concerned the inconsiderate and greedy ones will blame the Pratchett estate.

Because you know they won't blame Gaiman
I'm sure they'll rail against literally everyone else involved in this
probably the only reason Pratchett estate agreed to this was out of respect for the fans, they definitely didn't do it for Amazon lol
