edit: the d drive is missing and I don't know why or how to get it back

it's plugged in, I tried all the different sata cords, I dont see it listed in disk management

and im getting distressed because the only reddit posts I'm finding all basically say the drive might be fried and I don't know what I'll do if that's true

I'm trying a reset now. it'll Uninstall all the programs and apps but should keep my files so.

I'm just really upset now. maybe I should've just left it alone

well one thing that could be contributing is that your computer is extremely dusty

her psu died so she got a more powerful one (still in spec) and replaced it
