I've never liked having to dig in my inv for another item to wear to change colors but the "go to item" from the wearing menu is handy. It seems HUDs are the new standard and I guess I should drag myself out of 2012
i like the visual of HUDs- language isn't a barrier, and i don't have to guess about what color the creator things that should be named versus what color i think it is (sometimes that's straightforward...other times not so much!)
while gacha was the tradable thing, one object all one piece was great so parts didn't get lost. having to dig in inventory for a hud is still a minor inconvenience, but once you have you also get more than 12 buttons at a time.
and also keep in mind that rigged mesh and touch interact is unpredictable/broken. it doesn't work well or at all in some viewers. so opening up that 12 option menu is harder!
