Firsty Friday if you feel more inclined
18 and 19 for Murmur please!
oh those are interesting ones!
18 for Mur, the line between right and wrong: So that one's a bit complicated for him. As an angel, he's functioning on a very specific set of rules that don't always align with what humans would consider morally correct. For Murmur in particular Duty has always been paramount. What is right is what is commanded from on high, even if in the eyes of others it
is repugnant. If one is commanded to slaughter, then it is Right. if one is commanded to flood the valley and drown numerous villages, then that is also Right.
Disobedience is evil, questioning is wrong, and yet... he's not always been great at not doing those things. There's a teeny tiny little vein of rebelliousness in him that he's never been able to full stamp out. And now as a Blood Angel, who function very slightly differently he has to juggle that his understanding of what was Right and Wrong were perhaps
skewed perspectives. He's still trying to learn to understand the difference himself. It was easier when it was just follow orders. Now he has to try to weigh harm, and that's a lot more difficult for a creature that doesn't entirely understand what harm is
so the question of where the line is... he's not sure! It's pretty fuzzy and uh, he kinda preferred it when it was black and white
as for 19, problem solving: That one's a bit easier, he's definitely a problem solver and he does so enjoy doing it from the background. Depending on what the problem is generally he'll get someone else to do it, technically, even if they were set up on the path entirely by his trickery
manipulate information, gently shift the flow of events in the direction he believes will result in the most preferred outcome, and if he can make it look like he's had either no hand in it or been wildly incompetent the better. No one suspects he was pulling the strings the whole time
having a bird's eye view of all possibilities does help with doing that
24 morning and evening activities: Tea. For both. He has himself a cup of tea... if he's able anyway. Guy doesn't technically sleep so morning and evening are a little bit moot on the conceptual timeline but he recognizes most humans are diurnal and he should mimic that
30 what kinds of lessons does he need to learn laughs hollowly
how to think for himself once in a while?
how do humans define morality anyway???
that he's kinda a lot more dangerous than he realizes and he can probably use that to his benefit and stop being a scaredy bird and running from his problems
(to stop running from his problems)
what are emotions and what are you supposed to do with them
and why it's rude to just shove the experiences of one person directly into the brain of another, even if they really really deserved it
also dangling people from buildings to get what you want out of them is also rude
oh and that he's not just a tool for a capricious and disconnected deity to use whenever it feels like it
I hope those were acceptable answers
Ooh, I love this. I like hearing about how he works. He's such a neat character.
I'm so glad you enjoy him :3c he's really fun to try to figure out
balancing an alien that's about as different from a human as a human is to an ant but still keeping him interesting
and some others but i saw that one and immediatley was like yeah
4, 6, 33, 35, and uhhh 69 hueheu
yamper lmao no, no he is not ok
any canon point, it applies to him
I'm at work atm so I'll answer the rest later
take your time! I asked a lot of you
kinda crashed yesterday but today is a short day for me so I can get to them c:
please take your time!! I was sick (again) and only am turning into a human again myself today
oh heck thank you for hitting this up I kinda uh... got distracted after the world exploded
lemme see #4 for Seif... his coffee order is terrible. It's just black, godawful tar levels of disgusting. If it doesn't burn your tastebuds out is it really coffee?
please, someone teach this man it's okay to like sugar
#6 you know I like to headcanon a bit that people claim he's a player but he absolutely isn't. He's too busy training or trying to be a revolutionary to actually get into anything like that. He doesn't bother refuting any of it because it elevates his Social Status
dude's a fantasy larping nerd he ain't getting laid
I expect a lot of people actually think he's terrible at school as well but I'd think he does well on his written exams it's his short temper and shorter attention span that fucks him up on the field tests
#33 I'm not sure he knows the meaning of the word mercy
#35 fire magic, hands down. However since the whole INCIDENT he's pretty put off magic in general these days
#69 COMFORT? who has time for that there are WARS TO FIGHT. No really he uh... doesn't have a strong idea of how to do the whole self soothing thing but if it were any kind of media it's that dreadful Sorceress' Knight movie and book of course. Or at least it was, pretty sure that doesn't sit very comfortably for him anymore
his one outlet kinda got messed up so now he has. Uh. Trying and failing miserably at fishing?????
these questions assume the characters have healthy coping mechanisms
child soldiers have it rough mang
non I understand. I had an upper respiratory virus and was out for like... until now and when I'm interested in interested. ain't here to joke about that
would he like Turkish equivalent of coffee?
yeah I think it's weird when people do that. he was genuinely into Rinoa, you can tell imo? even if it wasn't meant to be permanent
yeah I hc seifer as someone that barely used paramagic/summon before? he seems like the type to put weight on his own skills (and the way his limit triggers so frequently I feel lends to this?)
YEAH I feel like keeping busy is how q operates and keeps The Thoughts at bay
If someone were to introduce him to better/specialty coffee I think he could very quickly become a coffee snob. For him it's definitely a lack of opportunity/experience to have developed tastes. Without dealing with the whole world ending thing he has time to get practiced
And yes I agree, he was definitely into Rinoa. I think the overthrowing Galbadia to rescue Timber was an aspect of things as well, the opportunity to play hero, but there were genuine feelings there. Possibly more than Rinoa herself had
I also agree re: paramagic/summoning, I think he would see over reliance as a crutch, and something to only use when you absolutely have to. He'd junction because the test required it, not because he needed it. Seifer's definitely very self-reliant so abandoning it in general wouldn't really affect his fighting too much
they're pretty similar. Stay busy, keep training, don't think. It's best if you don't think too much
do you think he's an espresso guy? would he be able to handle Turkish coffee?
😌 I'm so glad we're on the same page with our ideas and hc
