sometimes you take the dog to the groomer, get your eyebrows waxed, spend the better part of 3 hours roaming across multiple suburbs grocery shopping

bc the best liverwurst for your wife is 5min that way but the butcher with the sale on chicken ribs is 15min back there and each one is a 10min walk + shopping time

then you need to go to the next suburb over to get fresh fruit and get immediately overwhelmed by choice paralysis so you take forever

so by the time you walk home the dog is ready to be picked up

and then when you get home you help your lovely poor sick wife make delicious chicken ribs for lunch

and then you spend another 3 hours in the back yard removing the concrete-anchored clothesline bc dangerous spiders keep hiding in it, then all the paving tiles so you can weed and re-cover the dirt with cardboard so there's no more weeds

and then you get maybe a third of the way through that before your energy gives out

then you walk the other dog

and then you eat a full dinner, two punnets of strawberries and half a jar of chocolate ice cream

and then tomorrow is my wife's nanna's birthday so we gotta go be social as well

luckily Tuesday is a public holiday so I'll get to rest/probably finish the yard

chicken ribs are a thing?

yeah! they're a thing in Asian cuisine mostly, chicken spare ribs. they're my fave bc they're all meat no fat so ofc they're stupid expensive these days

man now I want liverwurst
