SOMETHING positive this week happened at least

HELL YEAH

I was hopeful about this one too....its at a local Philly grocery coop that is very cool; they had an opening in their little mini supplement/body care shop for a part time person who knows the products

kind of EXACTLY the job I did at whole foods for 5 years, same products mostly too LMAO

ans I loved that job! I just hated the corporate aspects that came with it

it shares space with a pet store too so dogs come in all day

Pay is solid, benefits rule, and a GROCERY discount in 2024 is basically like getting paid in gold bars

mostly I'm just fucking relieved to have something.

I fucking burned through my paltry savings, getting CONSTANT overdraft fees and watching play credit score crash

I'm due a chunk of my advance soon too but I did not want to get that and immediately burn through that.

especially now? I need to be saving.

i've also been playing the "watch my credit score yeet off a cliff" and it suuuuucks

my credit score wasnt even like, particularly great. but I'd been working hard to get it better!!

it's just one of those things when you're generally struggling is just like, ANOTHER very specific thing that sucks to see

i know multiple people who've seen so proud and happy about paying off their student loan debts only to see their cc debt skyrocket alongside rising grocery costs and it's infuriating man
