So I finally tried the scentbird strawberry shortcake scent. I love it. it is strong strawberries scent but richer and deeper and it lasts very well. I think I'll get a bigger one yet.

I have been curious about that, but im always afraid of strawberry scents. I fear the chapstick artificial strawberry scent. Its a first class ticket to migraine city for me.
this didn't smell like chapstick but it might not be the one for you as the strawberry is very strong.

im ok with strawberry, as long as it actually smells like strawberries. Imitation strawberry, and cherry are the absolute worst

OH! And the worst offender. Raspberry. I cannot come in contact with that, not for a moment or my day is ruined. I actually think it is a nice smell, but I cannot smell it or its 100% migraine. It just has to come in my vicinity long enough for me to get one smell of it. I dont know why raspberry is so violent, but it is lol

When I first started getting migraines I was early teen, and I wasnt aware yet that smells were a trigger. I asked for a bottle of the raspberry body spray for christmas. I had a migraine every. single. day. for 2 weeks after christmas. It finally dawned on me that it started when I got the body spray.

those are the 2 weeks I learned the brown paper bag and vinegar trick for migraines. Cause meds dont help. I would get home from school and just lay on the sofa crying, and my dad broke out the vinegar and brown paper bag. Worked every time.

Helyanwe: ooh what's the vinegar and brown paper bag trick

SanuraSnowpaw: you soak brown paper bag in white vinegar, and you tie it to your forehead with a bandana or scarf. Leave it there until its dries. If your still feeling the migraine, resoak and reapply.
oh interesting I've never heard of that before.

SanuraSnowpaw: it apparently works for injuries and stuff too.. ive never tried it. But ive googled quite a few times trying to see if theres some sort of explanation of WHY it works. But swear to god it does lol Its my go to when meds wont cut it.
haha if it works who cares right?
