timewise it's completely up in the air (heh) at the moment, but it's likely that I'll be going to Seattle with my boyfriend sometime in the next 6-9 months
he's got work trips going out there and his work is paying for his stuff, so we could pay for my ticket

if you go in late spring/summer it is gorgeous and not super cold or hot generally.

(And that winter in Seattle is typically not nearly as bad as east coast winter. Just dark and drizzly and if it snows two inches everyone panics a bit.)
given that I live on the edge of the Lake Ontario lake effect, that could be a nice change
like average 30/40s in the winter with some temps dropping to the lowest, like mid to high teens
i always laugh when Seattle winter temps do that thing where, like, high for the day 42, low for the day 41.
