my executive dysfunction always manifests either as complete no thoughts head empty tumbleweed-zoning or wanting to do ALL the things at once (but then going "actually no not that" whenever i actually try to start something)
maybe, lol. i think, in this specific case, the thing that i am frustrated about is mostly me overbooking myself.

when my executive dysfunction is kicking up, it's like i have a pile of blocks that are the things i need/want to do, and i just cannot figure out how to build a tower out of them

i have french class that ends at 11am and ballet that starts at 12pm, so: i am always late to ballet. because i have to make lunch, eat lunch, put on a new set of clothes, and drive to class in the space of that hour. it's not actually like i do not do the things.

exec dysfunction doesn't necessarily mean you don't get things done, you're just a disaster while doing them and everything is by the skin of your teeth
the solution is probably to leave french class at 10:50, the actual time the class ends (it just informally goes over until 11) or, eat lunch after class. (not always practical, today i had to go directly to the dentist, often i have work.)

if that were my schedule i'd be bringing the lunch and change of clothes
oh, the french class is remote. definitely, i could try to do something where the prep time is nil.

oh man i was being very pre-covid about it, huh
tbf i'm also extremely reluctant to describe any time management issue i have as "executive dysfunction", which
i am also just tired of having to go to the dentist every two weeks, i'd like to stop having perpetual dentist appointments.
a few hours of mindless scrolling later, i am back and ready to do the rest of the tasks i have to do today
update: i was not (as) late to ballet today. i didn't try to eat lunch beforehand and committed to using my card to pay for parking vs struggling with feeding bills into the parking meter.
also i had a thai massage appointment a few weeks ago (thai massage is a lot of assisted stretching) and the practitioner commented on how flexible i am. and i thought that was strange because i'm not (imo) super flexible. but i realized that is probably because i'm comparing to "people in my ballet class" vs "the population at large."
