Allegory: Why, do they only release like every 20 years? I haven't followed Half-Life stuff ever.

Tillie: basically half-life 3 is the game that everyone has been waiting for and will never ever happen. valve keeps wandering off and doing other shit instead- like portal (same shared universe but not significantly connected, also an excellent game) and steam (which is how they make all their money now anyway)

I mean, I do not care, I didn't play the first 2 games.

Tillie: 2 is fun. i don't particularly like run run shoot everything games, but it's got some neat mechanics to it. also headcrabs and batshit science (portal has more batshit science though)

Tillie: the joke is that Valve is binary and can't count to 3
