he has to go under anesthesia and I’m not sure exactly what all will need to be done, depends what the vet finds in his ears

The pictures are from the time he had to wear a jacket to cover up his glucose monitor, but he’s in remission now and doesn’t need it anymore

Poor Butch had deep ear infections in both ears. They got flushed out and he’ll get antibiotics.... He did well under anesthesia thankfully

I don’t know yet if he’ll have any side effects from the procedure, they had to numb around his ears and that can cause issues

Butch is back home but not very happy because I’m supposed to restrict his food and keep him confined to one room. He also needs to wear a cone so he doesn’t bother his ears or chew on the wound he somehow got on his arm. I’m guessing he chewed himself

He has a little side effect from the ear numbing, he can’t totally close his right eye so he needs drops until it gets better. Hopefully it’ll go away soon
