It doesn't look bad. It honestly looks like a pretty faithful recreation of the original.

It even has Gerard Butler playing Stoick, which is really going the extra mile.

I'm just lookin' at Toothless. And he looks exactly like he did in the original animated movie. And I'm just like. Why does this exist when the original animated movie is there.

Probably to have the movies fresh in minds for when epic universe has launched, and they can sell tie in merch at the HTTYD land

I mean I get that and I'm sympathetic to the idea that the original movie is
