just throw the numbers at me, no need to like on plurk
1 5 8 12
1 - a good question. I think I started when I was around 12/13? basically as soon as I learned about online chat rooms and fandom spaces that offered the chance.
so you can say I've been roleplaying for 20 years or more ^^"
5 - it really depends. I like how long form content challenges me, however I used to be part of an "elite" RP group on Tumblr that demanded 800 word replies minimum, 1000-1500 word replies were preferred.
yeah no, that's just giving me war flashbacks to that time, so that's never gonna happen again! yes, I did my best writing back then, but I had no fun
so by now, I like short replies to get things done and push the story forward, but I don't mind longer replies or threads if it's something more intense
8 - hmm, need to think about it. maybe too powerful characters that claim to know and do everything, despite only just having met my character? no, wait! just assuming your OC is in a relationship with the character I write, just because you want them to be, without asking! has happened to me, and no thank you. communication is a huge part of RP after all
also when I write a longer reply and constantly get one word replies back. I don't mind replies not matching, cause I don't always do it either, but write more than a word or short sentence to give me something to work with, pls? ^^"
12 - roleplaying allows me to dive deeper into fandoms and into characters, to analyse them a bit more and just gives me an outlet for the love and feels I have for a character, if that makes sense?
I just like trying to get into their mindset and then see where things go. sometimes even surprising myself xD
8. ABSOLUTELY YES ONE SENTENCE REPLY
DONT GIVE ME THAT AND EXPECT SOMETHING MORE
Biggest pet peeve and the oc consent ugh
haha, yessssss xD
like is said, I don't expect a novel, but give me me something here xD
and yeah, chemistry is so important to me for RP, don't just assume that characters are an item (if it's not the prompt of the meme, obviously)
