I assumed from the volume of Black Friday adverts in my inbox it was today
yeah it's late this year, so the sale started early
...damn it really is next week.
I would prefer black Friday be tomorrow
having it this late is going to push the shipping fallout into "everyone who can actually fix this issue is on vacation" season
yeah, it is super late this yeae
yep. I had a weird moment of "wait, it's not next week...?" last week
Tbf, some companies just seem to do a Black Friday every Friday in November
i'm getting real annoyed about it lmao walmart's "black friday" was nov 11-17th NOT EVEN CLOSE
I once bought a TV at a “Black Friday” sale in OCTOBER
How can both Black Friday and apparently Christmas be before US Thanksgiving, I don't know, but the commercial world seems to think it is?
those are usually 'early black friday' sales
although honestly some of the best sales are in october if you're looking to buy last year's stuff; they mark a lot of stuff way down or put it on clearance to make room for the 'new' stuff for black friday sales
I have the last Pixel 6A the store had last year from that
Yeah, it's always the last Thursday in November, but since the month ends on a Saturday this year it ends up feeling really weird. We usually have another half week after Thanksgiving before December and without that it feels super late.
Always the fourth thursday, sometimes there's a fifth thursday in november
but since november started on a friday, this is the latest thanksgiving we get
Yeah, this upcoming Thursday. Everyone's doing Early Black Friday and Early Cyber Monday, so...there's no real point
they've been doing things early for a few years. by the time I'm really old we'll be busting out the christmas music after fourth of july if we keep creeping up at this rate
Or they'll just never stop playing Christmas music
