Between the constant release of new pokemon that have ridiculous catching methods (Toxel, Charcadet, Varoom all being either shadow or egg hatches), and the utter mess that is the Dynamax/Gmax stuff...Im highly considering grabbing Home so I can get my pokemon (that I can) off and onto my Switch

Like...even if Im by myself, I should be able to do DECENT damage to a Toxtricity with a Dmax Excadrill with a Ground Max Move...rather than it doing the SAME damage it does with Earthquake while not maxed

It should be QUAD damage...not a SLIVER

(its not even Gmax Toxtricity...just the standard)

That and the fact they have Gmax Soup as an option and refuse to even think about bringing it in

I'm still salty about the shiny Jirachi I essentially paid $5 for being locked behind a series of absurd tasks

"Spin a Pokestop 20 days in a row" no you don't get to tell me when I leave the house

I've mostly just messed around with the low-level Dynamax stuff just because I know the harder stuff will get stupid and they also don't get to force me to play with others in person

Like...if I was still in Toronto...the higher level stuff might be possible...but they DESPISE rural area players

even when its both me and Yubsie tag teaming a midlevel Dmax...its genuinely tedious to grind through it

Also Niantic is using the GPS data to train an “AI”

I still dont quite understand what they hope to glean into an AI using that TBH

Though at the same time...im so blah with data collecting that it never surprises me anymore

Also...man...id be stranding 110 costume pokemon. I hate not being able to transfer anyone

I'm only in Go to try to get the pokemon for my live dex that I just can't get another way (grumble mumble old event mythicals that are impossible unless you played the right game in the right time period. ...or cheat)

Go is, at this point, largely a thing I play on my lunch break or maybe a little while I run errands. It's not something I want to schedule my life around to the degree Niantic deems appropriate

I'm not using it to meet up with people or make special trips for anything lol

I think Ill give it till the egg im currently working on is done...see if I cant get that Toxel
