They're good books and people should buy them!! A lot of SFF/speculative fic I've encountered runs into this problem where it struggles to balance hefty worldbuilding with pace of storytelling, but Wonders of Mundus does a really excellent job introducing its lore in ways that make a lot of sense

In that the conflicts the characters face arise from the circumstances they're being introduced to very organically.
