Can I just say that posting this shortly after Fitz 's it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas was so funny to me
nothing says Christmas like making fun of your warden, that's what Fitz always says
I also want it to be known that I have a silly idea for a movie for them to watch but I'm waiting for the discussion to progress a bit (partially inspired by ideas Alex was telling me but it could come up a different way)
a very different tone from the last movie club meeting
Im struggling with how to jump into this :\\
also i just noticed the title lmao
"Its beginning to look a lot like a cult"
:'] I'm sure this will continue over some days... I definitely made it kinda simple to get things rolling without a lot of elaborate hooks so we can work on hooks together later if they are needed!!
okay!
I think I'm just going to have Pyotr show up late, something he would do anyway
Great idea! On top of everything else, they're trying to avoid being seen in a crowd together anyway
this is the saddest revolutionary group in history
Pyotr's canon one was way more pathetic. This is a big improvement
That IS sad.
Almost as pathetic as a bunch of wardens who can't close the silent Hill loophole, can't prevent new arrival rampages, etc etc etc etc
Nobody said they weren't sad but, like. You'd think burning everything down would be easier than trying to get things together.
Though in practice it's won't...
If burning everything down doesn't work out for you guys, the pathetic wardens will still be here to help you <3
Walter is broadening his horizons after be several months at hoping for reform
That sounds vaguely threatening XD
But as long as he grows his hair out and starts wearing eyeliner i'm in.
Walter's new look.
Inspired by John Silver
Okay now I have to find the other look I actually almost went with
Unlike this one that was only recently invented and is not currently happening
a little anticlimactic that it's from Wikipedia but I just... HEISENBERG.
The shirt, the hat /chef's kiss
Considering that none of them have any powers aside from Erskine, whose magic is heavily restricted, I think it'd be much harder to destroy the Barge
than to stop inmate murder rampages
Erskine's kind of like, 'I have plan but you have to get cool with some stuff real quick'
pyotr has plans that are like jigsaw pieces, mwahahaha
Setting random shit on fire is easy. Doing effective, targeted damage is much harder and takes a hell of a lot of planning even when you’re not talking about a magical invulnerable ship populated by twitchy gods.
theyre not trying to burn a few library books, they want the whole ship destroyed
Also like the entire Narrenschiff crew containing several unnerfed members failed to do truly irreparable long term damage to the barge, though that could be by choice
Walter is also like hmmmmmm the Barge loyal people (some wardens some inmates) sure did plenty of burning it down alongside the professed goal of rebuilding a better alternative (this is of course generalizing dozens of totally different people here)
ah but the new inmate murder rampages are usually magical or powered so someone would have to talk the Admiral into putting new arrivals in Zero until they calm down and get the brochure.
No someone would have to talk the admiral into actually nerfing new inmates until they've proven themselves to a permanent warden which is a much smaller ask and the way it's formally claimed to be and one of the big differences with the Narrenschiff
Also Never Forget Annie Who Had A Broken Bottle And A Dream
...didn't nobody ever get nerfed on the narrenschiff?
oh you mean the Barge does do nerfing
by all means use rebellion club and write a letter to the Admiral and maybe affect real change guys!!
Typical, wardens refusing to shift a single ass cheek to do anything useful.
/tracks
Yes, you figured it out has@magicom:
typical inmates thinking they're so original that these asscheeks have never been lifted before. but if it keeps you guys out of trouble for ten minutes, it's still a worthwhile endeavor.
Walter was like surely there's a reason escape hasn't worked for ten years... Right ....? But at this point he legitimately thinks that factors like breaches and canonmates have made long term, high impulse control dissenters rare enough that something might happen
it was so funny to me the time Durandal thought "oh boy, Pyotr can introduce me to the in crowd of dissenters that surely must exist here" and Pyotr was thinking "...unfortunately we got like six random people"
I need it to be known
I am gonna have to shoe Horn in the idea for the movie because the exact thing I was thinking about (experimenting on the barge part by part) did not get said
I am sorry. I am a spacey busy girl. I have held out on you
lol, I still haven't tagged in. woops
Okay so. I have to get up early tomorrow and after work I've been able to do... Almost nothing. But. I finally came up with a good idea for MOVIE REVEAL
