okay, trying to get back on my bs.
here's some stuff i've queued up to read:
right now i am reading attention span by gloria mark. i have stolen focus as well, as one of my coworkers mentioned reading it. we'll see how far i wander into this topic.
i finished dying to be ill last, which is about factitious disorder/munchausen's and medical deception. a dry, clinical book, but they have a lot of really interesting insights that come from people who have faked various illnesses.
have not read this yet but "christopher clark reviews ww1 historiographical book about christopher clark" promises to be juicy.
the influencer lawsuit is interesting, but doomed. it feels like a rehash of authors trying to copyright specific words
i think it's mostly going to help establish precedent.
scammer and unreliable narrator
yes i wasn't sure where to put this but at 10pm last night my coworker ran out of the back room to announce "CAROLINE CALLOWAY SAYS SHE FUCKED THE CEO ASSASSIN" and it was a good thing. i am grateful for this service.
that's the correct response to this news
