Yes, a ‘snow bunny’ is a white woman who fetishises black men to the point of excluding white men from her sexual activities.

Wow I didn’t even know that, people need to calm down

Like people also say Snow Birds for people that move to warmer climates in winter
Cyberpink: we were going for this "an attractive, flirty young woman who frequents ski slopes and ski resorts and wears stylish winter gear", but is the disparaging meaning the most common one?
wasabipills: its n the urban dictionary, so its like a slang definition
Helyanwe: I want to make sure that it's not perceived negatively by the majority of people

i would not percieve it as that, it sounds totally normal to me given that it's december and clearly a winter style
While I know the meaning
Cyberpink shared, I think it's more common as the ski slope definition

but im also not caring about slangs, slangs are slangs cos it's not commonly used. Snow Bunny sounds cute, i bet people even use it to describe themselves related to winter sports
I think it just depends who hears it... in the 80’s a snow bunny was cute girl at a ski resort
I think there’s a slang term for everything
to me it sounded like the winter equivalent of "beach bum", just cuter, so I was confused
I don’t think the majority of people associate it with the dirty connotation

if we change everything because it's a slang, then all Karens would be changing their names right now
now I'll check urban dictionary every time just in case

I had not heard of it before but I think it would be good sense to change the name due to the racial connotation. Whilst I know there is a worry of making everything “too PC” I don’t think it would be good for any brand to be made aware of something being racially insensitive and not acting on it

“Snow Babe” or “Snow Baby” would be equally cute
I never heard it to mean anything except white women who ski
I'm cracking up because back in the early 2000s, I had a shirt that said Snow Bunny on it. It had a little drawing of a cute bunny and everything.

I do think that a more common phrase is Ski Bunny. But I'd never heard of snow bunny being racist before.
I wish I could remember the name of the hair, I named one of my hairs something at some point and I got a message like "that doesnt mean what you think it does" and it was some gross sex act. lol I looked it up on urban dictionary and was like
i have never heard of the racist meaning before. coming from the Alps and land of snow a snow bunny here is simply a woman who wears stylish ski outfits doing snow activities
I’m a snowboarder (or was then I had knees that worked), but I have no idea if that’s a skiing term or not. Sounds like people are clutching pearls. If I saw a winter hairstyle with that name, I wouldn’t associate it with the interracial fetish...
I have never heard the racial connotation, only the skiing term and that has never been any certain race, just someone who enjoys the slopes

I would never have thought of that.

I wouldn't think of it in this racist way either. I usually miss these kinds of things though!

'Snow Bunny' isn't a racist term and the sexualised version of the phrase is niche at best. Seriously no reason for people to get bent out of shape over
I never heard that. I thought it was a cute name

Never heard of it as a slur. It’s always been a cutie on the slopes here (and not necessarily a woman).
