I wear the exact same pair of shoes almost every day and mine were falling apart, treads rubbed off and holes in the soles so for our anniversary Alexander took me and we got TWO pairs 
I basically wear a pair of shoes to ribbons, had to get rid of the last pair after I started slipping in wet parking lots cause they were so smooth
