https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51xIBnXIPUL._AC_UF894,1000_QL80_.jpg I think I'm going to chill and watch Batman & Mister Freeze: Sub-Zero. It snowed here recently, which got me thinking of it, and I haven't seen it since I was a kid.

I do need to get caught up at Batman Beyond at some point - the Blight plot being finished kind of made me less compelled to watch, I think.

Also, it's crazy how, just a few years before this, Mister Freeze was used as an example of an obscure or forgotten character who showed up in comic book limbo. https://images.plurk.com/5KzlsohPMb7SYpx9DB7b5k.png

Surprised that Freeze seemingly didn't consider an organ transplant before now. (Also a little surprised that they specifically listed Barbara's age as 20; I figured they'd avoid showing character ages as much as possible)

I like how Kevin Conroy uses different voices for Bruce, serious Bruce, and Batman. (He seemed to stop doing that as the DCAU went on; not sure if it's a choice on his part or a change in how he was directed)

I love how Batman has a shelf full of maps covering all kinds of scenarios just in case he needs them.

They're very deliberately avoiding the topic of which organ Freeze needs to transplant from Barbara to Nora. (They could just say her heart)

Michael Ansara does a great job at shouting while still sounding flat/emotionless.

Nice bit of compassion from the Bat-Family at the end, helping Freeze out from the rubble.

Seeing Mister Freeze crying tears of joy at the news of Nora's recovery put a smile on my face. The movie was shorter than I expected (a little over an hour), but I enjoyed it.
