Basically, they tried to add supernatural elements. Which I thought was a really neat idea, but it felt kind of sudden and then book 4 was just like, "Oh, yeah, that whole last book? That doesn't exist." I feel like if it had kept going, it could have worked well, but idk

Well, maybe "I want my murderous semi-headmate back" wouldn't be the best Deal. But it would be a reason for him to reach out to the Admiral, and maybe he could edit his actual Deal from there
