Is it weird that my dad, Boomer that he is, has women's jewelry on his Amazon wishlist?
I'm fairly certain he's not trans, nor a crossdresser. Obviously, since I haven't seen him in about 16 years, I can't be CERTAIN certain, but fairly.
some people just like jewelry? maybe he's trying to bring out his inner Elton John. or maybe he uses his wishlist to hold onto things he found to buy for others but doesn't want to get right then
also like, maybe he's got a little crossdresser in him, let that freak flag fly, dad!
but there's plenty of non-crossdresser non-trans reasons to have women's jewellery in the queue
if it's expensive stuff, like real gold, he could also be looking to move some of his wealth into physical items, although I can't really imagine using Amazon for that
it's possible he's got it there for someone else and not realize you could have separate lists
Jaetopus: It's not expensive stuff. It's mostly silver in the $15-$30 range.
Honestly, he's probably put it on there as gift ideas for his current girlfriend.
Sounds like that's the most reasonable conclusion
Maybe I'm just crabby because stress.
Is your dad in a different country? Since you said you've been here for 2 decades I think
Parental History, I feel you
My father is an asshole. Who was engaged to another woman while refusing to sign divorce papers. So he's technically a widower, even though my mom hadn't lived with him for years before her death.
He also sounds like he's technically a jerk
The main reason why I'd even seen his wishlist was because I was looking at somebody else's and noticed his to the side.
Men's jewelry is also boring AF
True. I could see him wearing the ring that's on the list. But not the dangle earrings.
He'd definitely be more of a stud guy.
