yah, but in RL, not everyone is model material. In SL, all you need is the right skin, the right shape and the right hair.

and modeling is really hard work, if you are going to do it right

ok, so it's hard work. Given that this is true (what do I know, I'm asking): still, what's the point? where's the fun then? does it pay?

fashion is by its definition a very creative process, for the models as much as the designers...putting a unique look together from various

items in your inventory, posing, getting the lighting right, and having the perfect background all require skill and ideas

and it is a fun and satisfying thing to do

Also, it gives a bit of social status to say 'Oh hey, there's a pic of my avi here' or something.

interesting... So a model in SL has to do multiple jobs? stylist, model, photographer, blogger/editor?

very few models are only models...nowadays, having some basic skills in photography is almost a must, and some become stylists and bloggers

later on...I for example blog and am an academy instructor, I also have written a few show scripts

met SL runway models and was NOT impressed. They are bitches.

going to model a friend's clothes in a show and they were all snotty because she didn't do it like they did.

So, the friend had to get another model. I quit.

that is a shame Djinni you obviously met the wrong models, then...unfortunately there are still many with that attitude
