you're used to how photoshop looks, and supposedly it helps. (i don't know PS so i didn't use the skin.)

Just chiming in to say a friend of mine uses it, but only for post processing pics. I don't think he does any real texture work with it.

uses it for tinkering with photos and slapping together the odd half-assed logo. It'd be a pain to use for texture work.

gimp has been working well for me, and I have not had any graphics training in any format. I have not tried working on skins yet, though.
