We have a dress down day on Fridays - contribute $1 for charity, and you can wear "appropriate" jeans.

my principal uses fund raisers to give us jeans days...we cntrinute, we get to wear them on that Fri. At least that is something

, some of my schools also allow jeans on Fri. if teachers pay a small fee (money goes into school hospitality fund or other charity)

in our schools teachers can wear whatever they deem "professional"...hmmm coaches shorts, workout shorts, T-shirts and jeans, should I go on

it amazed me....schools I taught in we had to wear nice pants or dresses. Jeans were for $1 charity days...shorts - on my, wouldn't dare.

My son's 3d grade teacher had a rat tail and great tatts!!! It's a brave new world I guess.

When I was young teachers had to stop teaching if they were "showing", in my mother's day they had to be unmarried to teach.
