and discontinued is prolly not such a bad thing, it means lots of them will be offloaded cheap. Good time to get a deal.

yeah well whatever camera you get it will be your starter camera and lose value in a couple years anyways. I wouldnt spend too much on it.

I'm running into warnings on some lenses: "DX lenses are NOT recommended for use with full-frame digital SLR cameras" Do I need to worry?

Looked up a well respected camera shop and it looks like there's one right down the street a bout a mile from my place of residence
