WoW noooo! it's addictive and... you have to pay to play
Hey, I'm okay and I play it!
but it's very fun! I LOVE THE BACKGROUND SOUND FOR REAL
YES THE AMBIANCE IS AWESOME.
though i play with it on the lowest settings
I wish I could play it on the highest
it's so amazing looking if your computer can handle it
my boyfriend's will be able to handle it and then some
aw, yeah, my roommate plays on a notebook
it doesn't do it so well, even though it's supposed to be for gaming
mine is good, but not for games
have you ever heard about dota?
yeah, even being a "gaming" laptop hers is a lot slower than my computer, even though it has everything better than mine but processor.
more RAM, better graphics and audio cards but not as fast a processor
it is really fun! it also used to work for me... but I think the owners decided to do their own game instead of using warcraft III
cuz dota was like an addon to warcraft III
aww I can't see videos my bandwidth is so slow
SO YOU KNOW WHAT DOTA IS HAHAHA
you've heard about Heroes of Newerth?
I mostly just know that video. :3
aww ok (whatever the video was please remind me when I get back to the city I study!)
And I have Warcraft III and all the expansions but not DoTA.
Just saying I have Warcraft III, haha.
but it's so well done that it seens to be a very different game! hahaha
But never bothered to get that map because I am lame.
ok but I can't play right now - connection is slow and it suddenly stop working
(I don't pay to play warcraft so...)
but I'll check it when I have spare time. would be nice if we could fill our time with dota matches! it could handle at most 10 people
5 vs 5, very fun!
Haha, I've read some stuff about it but am a bit too clueless to have actually tried it out yet.
this the game plurk?
yes! we're gonna play dota
Question: I run Vista. I Have an old CD-rom for Red Alert, which doesn't play. Any way to get it to work?
hmmm probably yes! but I'm really done with windows (using ubuntu linux)
Requirements for Red Alert are W'95/'97. Didn't run on XP either.
Can't I run a W95 emulation or something to get it to work?
or even DOS emulation, but can't work DOS very well.
That's the only game I ever got hooked on, and would like to play it from time to time.
Your best bet would probably be an emulator.
And then start emulation, from there access the CD-drive. It might also be too fast running?
(i don't know these stuffs
)
"Windows Vista offers Program Compatibility mode that allows users to run programs not compatible or not compliant with Windows Vista,
such as those written specifically for earlier versions of Windows or using features that no longer exists."
have you ever tried this?
Hmm, seems to only emulate XP, which is no good. Need 1 version lower.
In some really old programs, there may be a need to configure other settings if simple XP compatibility mode doesn’t work.
I'll try tomorrow, off to bed now.
why I am using "they" lately without any sense? perhaps I'm sleepy or typing too fast. :\
