I'm gonna send my dog out to "remark'

my dog just remarked our back yard....

our dog will often stop and sniff his own marks as if it was some other dog invading his territory... Him: "sniff sniff Hmmm... some other

dog is invading my territory." Me: "Dude, wake up! That is your own pee/poop."

He's probably just taking a walk down memory lane, "I remember when I pooped here. Seems like yesterday..."

I always thought they were just sniffing to see if it is still fresh or needs to be topped off

I always kind of think that he's thinking, "hmmm... who pooped here in my yard? sniff sniff... oh. that was me."

"Hey, who pooped over here. sniff sniff. oh. me again."

"Hey who was... oh. that was me too.
