you can read a textbook on this. Generally it is the same, unless the accomplice only executed part of the deed

so 1 mastermind, 5 accomplices, each accomplice completing a certain task not knowing of the others

then mastermind will be worst

if all 5 accomplices knew of the crime in its entirety then punishment is same as mastermind

reasonable...

this of course does not cover certain acts not planned for

so if 2 accomplices killed a bystander, when the plan was just to rob the pawn shop, then only the 2 accomplices are on trial for murder

however if the plan included neutralising the security guard and he is killed in the scuffle, then the mastermind may be included as well

then mastermind gets it, low IQ guy will depend on ability to define right and wrong and if he was lied to

if he was told the truth and he can differentiate between right and wrong, then he gets it too
