I went on an impromptu trip to New York with my mother to attend a memorial benefit concert for my brother.

I made some wonderful new friends, are some amazing food, had such a great time.

I went to the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

I spent three days with my mother and we did not kill each other (bonus!)

came back home and wished my daughter a happy birthday.

celebrated Passover with a Short Attention Span Seder.

then got to spend some more time with the friends I made in New York when they came down here to visit!

it was! I'm currently trying not to fall into "Let-Down Mode".

but I have the next two days off as paid vacation days, so I that's good.
