do you have spare quilting supplies??

it's a great cause, but I don't think it would be cost-effective to mail stuff to New Zealand!! I'm going to put stuff in my yard sale.
that's totally acceptable!
also, my "Hope Quilters" group makes quilts for various charities, including the kids at City of Hope and an orphanage in Tijuana. And...
we sent over 40 quilts to New Orleans for the kids on dialysis who were displaced after Katrina.
one of my friends made 42 quilts last year for all the people in the assisted-living section of her retirement community.
as soon as I get my back room cleared and set up for sewing again, it will be back to charity quiltmaking for me too! Our doctor-friends
do a fundraiser every year since Katrina for the children's hospital in NOLA and I'll be participating.
part of the main goal here is to give women something to do other than think of the death of their baby/child
something that makes them feel good and contributing to other women in their place
and the quilts are just a side bonus
I'm hoping to beable to give each of the women some basice quilting supplies like rotory cutter and mat(but mats are super expensive)
