I used DOT for moth of my figures, and that worked fairly well. Thinks it should also work in your case.

But really, AppleScript is great; In a couple hours, I learned the language and wrote a script that went thru my mails and optimized my

rules for sorting spam away and generated a nice report in PDF for me.
