I'm just downsizing an adult pattern for the 6 year old myself. I'm never crazy about kids patterns for some reason

the Yankee Knitter pattern is supposed to be for all sizes - I'll see if I can wrassle up my copy.

I'm not sure about downsizing an adult pattern for socks, but that might be what I have to do.

Yankee Knitter includes huge variety of sizes from kids to adults and weights of yarn. I ordered mine from Patternworks...
