we used to have frogs and toads in our backyard but Fox is a good hunter..... they scream!

The yellow-legged frogs in the Sierra they talked about are also getting eaten. Fish were introduced into the high lakes where they weren't

the frogs etc in our yard are the common sort so don't worry about that but it's always a problem when a new species is introduced.

they don't seem to make much noise in our area. that could be because oru yard is empty of all wildlife with any sense of self-preservation.
