Everyone should have a dog! Just watch out for inlaws and kids bearing critters- they tend to stay and multiply.

geeesh, that doesnt make sense. Our SPCA here only has that restriction on certain breeds, like pitbulls, dobbies, rotties

possibly check the local vets offices to see if anyone has a dog for adoption, or puppies needing homes.

it's the spca in annapolis, honey! i can't have any of those restricted breeds anyway, not on post. but still, argh!

I have a super violent, angry basset hound when I was a kid

my MIL has a dalmation. he's the sweetest dog, but sadly he's probably not going to be around much longer. he's 10 and arthritic. poor sam

yeah purebreds tend to be have a ton of health problems, even my puggle which is technically a mutt has pretty constant ear infections

dalmations are notoriously pretty aggressive, my dad would never let his firemen keep one haha
