Good question! They are apparently "viewable to the whole world" so you'd think Google would see them.

That's what I thought, but I haven't seen myself pop up on my Google Alerts yet for plurk stuff.

Yes, all posts on twitter are indexed on google. I've seen lots from Google Alerts for my posts and profile.
