I finally solved my problem. Phone was not set to discoverable. sounds easy but some hidden steps to get that setting, not intuitive ...

I had a BB curve for a while.. their interface left a lot of room for improvement, but not a bad phone.

the BB Bold, from what I understand is a big improvement from the Curve...still a BB is no IPHONE...but i like it.

I will be out of luck using the internet connection on school laptop, can't get passed all of the admin log ins but i guess i can bring mac
